At the touch of a button, the driver can activate Driver Shift Control (DSC), a system that takes the Sonic out of its smooth-shifting 6-speed Automatic Transmission and puts it into semi-manual mode – encouraging you to fine-tune each and every gear shift.

Styling and Space

The stylish dual-cockpit design features two-tone upholstery and an ice-blue illuminated instrument cluster featuring digital and analogue dials.

Space is used ingeniously inside the Sonic to ensure that your ride is as comfortable as possible; the versatile 60:40 rear seating formation folds to allows you to adapt cabin space while the storage spaces throughout the car allow you to conveniently keep possessions within reach at all times.

Chevrolet Sonic comes with a comprehensive safety system that includes driver and passenger airbags and a reinforced frame (Body Frame Integral) that is designed to resist bending forces in the event of a collision. For added peace of mind and assurance, the Sonic also comes with an advanced braking system using Electronic Brake-Force Distribution (EBD) to evenly distribute braking force and maintain optimum control based on weight and road condition, and a 4-channel Anti-lock Braking System (ABS) to prevent the wheels becoming locked when braking suddenly or firmly.
